Bucephalandra Mini Melawi is an easy plant, perfect for beginners. It can be grown submerged or immersed. It’s structure is smaller than its cousin Bucephalandra Melawi, with more compact and small scale leaves. It is a relatively dense Bucephalandra variant with longish narrow short-stalked leaves with a slightly undulate margin.The leaf tip is round with a small point. Especially the young leaves, as they have a nice coppery colour with iridescent green hues, older leaves are dark green. The underside of the leaf is of a silvery white with a brownish-red central vein. The rhizome has a more or less creeping growth habit. This plant can be propagated by cutting the rhizome and attached to driftwood and rocks using Epic Plant Glue or DOOA Terra Line.
